Access and Facilities

Schonnbrunn Palace can be found from the A23 road out of Vienna to Altmansdorf and the palace is 4km to the north. Lainzer Tiergarten has an information centre, marked trails and observation points and is easily reached by road from Vienna.
Using public transportation, Schonnbrunn Palace has its own stop on light rail line U4, while Lainzer Tiergarten is near the last stop (Hüttelsdorf) on the same line (U4): from the station, use the south exit, take the foot-bridge across the large road, continue in the same direction for one block, and from there follow signs towards the right towards Lainzer Tiergarten.
