Old World Buntings. They are seed-eaters, as evidenced by possessing relatively large, strong bills.
Taxonomy
Emberizidae is a family in the order Passeriformes.
The Longspurs and Snow Buntings have been moved to their own family Calcariidae. The New World Buntings and Sparrows have also been moved to their own family, Passerellidae and with the 2012 Clements update around 40 genera have been moved to the tanager family Thraupidae.
