Overview
Darss is part of the Fischland-Darss-Zingst peninsula situated within the German state of Mecklenberg-Western, on the southern shore of the Baltic Sea.
It's reported to have a varying habitat with good beaches on the sea side and more of a marsh/bay area on the other side forming a wildlife habitat, part of which is now a national park.
The topography of the peninsula is subject to the influences of the elements with some ongoing change present. [1]
