Genus: Pomarea

Description

A group of nine Monarch species, found on islands in the South Pacific.
Most males have an all black plumage.
All species have very small ranges and are threatened by the introduction of non-native animals and plants. Some are critically endangered, others already extinct.

Pomarea is a genus in the family Monarchidae.
