Family: Cacatuidae

Description

Cockatoos, Corellas, Galah and the Cockatiel constitute this family. They are all relatively large parrots with medium to short tail (except Cockatiel which has a long tail), and they all belong to the Australasian region.

Taxonomy

Cacatuidae is a Family in the Order Psittaciformes; some authorities place these genera in family Psittacidae
