Identification
10–11 cm
- Slate-grey or brownish
- Yellow crown, which is usually concealed
- Yellowish wing bars
- Stubby bill
Similar species
White-lored Tyrannulet has more pronounced white on the lores, two dotted wing bars, and lacks prominent pale edging to the tertials.
