Identification
Distribution
North-western Colombia and eastern Panama. Range does not overlap any other Chlorospingus [3].
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species [1],[2] which in the past has been treated as a subspecies of Common Chlorospingus or of Yellow-throated Chlorospingus [3].
Habitat
Moist montanes, especially elfin forest.
Behaviour
Forages mostly in lower levels of vegetation.
