Description
SACC1 has a note that Pitelka has described the behavior of this genus as Emberizidae-like.
Taxonomy
Chlorospingus was formerly treated as a genus in the family Thraupidae; however, SACC1 places this genus as INCERTAE SEDIS; Clements has already put them in the family Passerellidae and the Opus follows.
