Saltator grossus

Identification

Length: 8" (20 cm). Male dark gray with white throat patch, black face and border of throat patch, large coral red bill. Female paler and lacks black.

Distribution

Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela.
