Identification

Distribution

Western Africa: found in Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, northern DRC and north-eastern Angola.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

This is one of the three Sunbirds that have recently been moved into the genus Anabathmis from the genus Nectarinia.

Habitat

Gardens and forest edges.
