Genus: Nectarinia

About six species of Sunbird from Africa.

Nectarinia is a genus in the Family Nectariniidae.

Before the work of Irwin2 (1999, cited by Cheke, 20081 & Percy Fitzpatrick Institute, 20023), this genus included most of the African Sunbirds. However, Irwin split the genus placing the species in nine different genera.
