The principal species using the reserve are Bar-headed Goose, Northern Lapwing, Ruddy Shelduck, Northern Pintail, Common Teal, Spot-billed Duck, Eurasian Coot, Red-necked Grebe, Black-headed Gull, Black Stork along with plovers, terns, water fowl and egrets.
