Olive above, grey lores, hazel iris.
Distribution
Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.
Taxonomy
Subspecies
Clements recognizes these subspecies[1]:
- C. p. huallagae: Eastern Andes of southern Colombia and northern Peru
- C. p. medianus: Andes of east-central Peru (Junín and Cuzco)
- C. p. parvirostris: Andes of extreme southeast Peru (Puno) and northwest Bolivia (La Paz)
Habitat
Moist montanes.
