- Blue lesser wing-coverts and uppertail-coverts

Central and Western Andes of Colombia
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Extremely wet cloud forest, Choco slope.
Behaviour
The diet includes fruit, seeds and insects from the undergrowth and canopy.
Vocalisation
Song: a rapid pit-psEEyee or tst-tzEEee followed by a pause.
Contact call: sharp, staccato tst or pit. Single birds sometimes uttter a longer pseee or pseeyee.
