    Hi mary When they didn't show last year after showing the previous two years, I new then that they would not turn up again, but in some places they have been returning,like you the memory lives on.

    The annual starling fest continues to grow in numbers each day, the noise is something else, 2 cute robin youngsters continue to impress,the suet pellets are costing me a fortune with continuous re- filling every day, the main culprits being house sparrows and the starlings feeding there...

    First Siskin this morning on the niger feeder this winter/spring also regular visits from a pair of LTT 3 pairs of bullfinches and large amounts of chaffinches and goldfinches along with blackbirds collard doves and house sparrows

    Cheers dave,been quite busy lately,goldfinches have always been there and numbers increasing,sadly no redpoll yet as they dominated the feeders last winter until April.

    A nice selection of birds seen this week include 2 male bullfinch 2 female bullfinch 4 LTT 3 dunnock blackbirds, collard doves,house sparrows,blue tits,1 willow tit, great tits,coal tits,greenfinches,goldfinches,chaffinches,song thrush,robins,wood pigeons,magpies.

    Nice family of 8 LTT making a right racket the other morning,plenty of juv this summer including, dunnock, blue tits, great tits,goldfinches, bullfinches, starlings, robins,greenfinches,house sparrows, collard doves.
