    Just been out feeding the birds and something swooped over my right shoulder, into the bushes and flew to the houses behind and landed, a sparrowhawk! My wish for a garden bop tick came true, fantastic! Can't believe it flew so close to me!

    Just wanted to remind everyone to clean your feeders out, I did mine yesterday and it was pretty grim stuff, one of them had small yellow things in which looked like some kind of maggots, ugh!

    More & more visiting my garden as the cold of autumn sets in. The usual 15 house sparrows, 1 blue tit, 1 robin and a first... a Wren! It didnt go near the feeder but was hopping around in the shrubs behind, such a lovely little bird and a real bonus!

    Morning all, not been around for quite some time! My garden bird count is finally beginning to pick up from just sparrows, I had 2 collared doves, a robin and a blue tit in the garden this weekend. Looks like adding a nut feeder has worked wonders! Looking forward to seeing more as winter sets in!

    A new garden bird this weekend, had a bullfinch hanging from the sunflower hearts feeder which was a real shock on friday evening! Not seen it since but I've been away all weekend, im sure it was just a flying visit though. Goldfinch was back again this morning plus around 8 house sparrows.
