Identification

Distribution

Central America: Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, western Panama South America: lowlands west of the Andes in Colombia and Ecuador.

Taxonomy

Three subspecies are recognized:

  • G. s. bairdi
  • G. s. chiriquensis
  • G. s. semiflava

Habitat

Moist shrubland.
