Identification
11cm; male and female similar
Slaty-grey upperside, paler underside, and especially central belly is almost white. Upper breast and throat + chin is warm yellowish orange.
Distribution
Costa Rica and western Panama.
Taxonomy
It was formerly included in Parula.
Habitat
Cloud forest, mostly above 1500m, found in middle and upper levels of forest.
Behaviour
Actively fluttering around seeking invertebrates among leaves, usually above the observers head.
