Distribution
Breeding in the Balkans, Turkey, Levant and the Middle East. Winters to Sudan.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Formerly considered conspecific with Western Bonelli's Warbler; with this and Wood Warbler, sometimes separated into the genus Rhadina.
Habitat
Maquis, wooded scree, desert areas with trees and bushes and parks.
Behaviour

The diet includes insects.

It is a ground nester. The clutch consists of 4-6 eggs.
