Identification
Upperside is olive-brown including crown and tail, wings are brown with yellow fringes (but no wing bars), underside olive on breast and flanks, yellow belly and undertail coverts. It has whitish eyes, pale yellow throat, and a warmer color to the breast and flanks than Slender-footed Tyrannulet.
Distribution
Occurs in the Guianas and parts of Brazil (east of lower Rio Negro and east of Rio Branco north of Amazon River; south of Amazon River the form is found east of the confluence with Rio Madeira).
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species.[1]
Guianan Tyrannulet has been from split Slender-footed Tyrannulet.[1][2][4]
Habitat
Moist lowland forests.
Behaviour
The song is similar to that of Slender-footed Tyrannulet, but the call is quite distinctly different.
