- Zimmerius gracilipes
Identification
9–11·5 cm (3½-4½ in)
Upperside is olive-brown including crown and tail, wings are brown with yellow fringes (but no wing bars), underside olive on breast and flanks, yellow belly and undertail coverts, and whitish throat. It has pale blue eyes, and is greenish on the breast and flanks.
Distribution
South America: found in Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Brazil. Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela.
Taxonomy
Guianan Tyrannulet Zimmerius acer has been split from this taxon.[1][2][4] Within the area where Z. acer occurs, Z. g. gracilipes occurs on the slopes of Mt. Roraima and probably other Tepuis.
Subspecies
Two subspecies are recognized:

- South East Peru and western Brazil to northern Bolivia
Habitat
Moist lowland forests and on Tepuis.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists of insects and small fruits, particularly mistletoe berries.
Vocalisation
The song is similar to that of Guianan Tyrannulet, but the call is distinctly different.
