18cm. Grey nape, olive brown crown and upperparts, feathers scaled black, brown throat, cinnamon underparts.
Distribution
Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela.
Taxonomy
Habitat
Moist lowland forests and montanes.
Behaviour
Terrestrial.
It builds a cup nest of sticks and leaves low in a shrub, and 2 eggs are laid.
