Zeiss SF 10x42 dissection (4 Viewers)

The futuristic design still has something of the classic lines (a kind of Mercedes of binoculars). The fleshy body with curved lines helps to feel the consistency when gripping. Also, the slightly elastic armor prevents the binoculars from slip out of hand

The beautiful coating of the objectives lenses seems to give life to these binoculars and I remember its fantastic clarity

The eyepieces are like two cups of purple coffees without reflections in their depth! That are responsible for the great resistance to glare and stray light of this binocular. This lack of parasitic reflections inside the eyepieces is something quite rare in binoculars

Haha! it is exactly because I compare Swarovski's to Mercedes that I never even considered them.. and now have the Zeiss SF 10x42 (and older Leica BN 10x50 ...) so please: NEVER compare the Zeiss's to Mercedes!! 😀😃😄😁😆
Thanks for your writing and images.

Love my SF's, not only for their FOV (actually, those old BN's were similar!), but for their extreme STABILITY. As if they have built-in stabilizers. Perhaps their most important quality!
