Early morning walk around Pulborough Brooks this morning, Nightingales, Cuckoo, Garden Warbler, Blackcaps, Sedge Warblers, Common Whitethroats and plenty of Wrens making a fine musical accompaniment to trip around the Brooks. Waders on show included Wood Sandpipers, Ruff, Greenshank, Little Ringed Plover, Black-tailed Godwits along with the local Redshanks, Lapwings and Avocets. Possibly the star of the show was the Green-winged Teal which put on a nice display from Nettley's hide .Even saw a Great Diving Beetle in one of the Ponds! Left before the crowds built up in the heat! More pics on the Blog
