Headed down to RSPB Medmerry yesterday to have a look at the Least Sandpiper that has been around for a while, found it on the Beach where it showed amazingly well. Other highlights, included a Hoopoe, Little Ringed Plover, Whinchat, Sanderling, my first Whitethroat and Willow Warbler for the year, a Peregrine and a lot of Yellowhammers!! A fantastic morning in the sunshine with the reserve looking superb with the Gorse in flower! Quite a few more pics on the blog at the link!
