When you going mate?
I may pop up there next week some time if the eagle is still knocking about.

Going Saturday afternoon But got to be back by Thursday.
Will stay at one of the Sandringham Caravan sites ( Caravan club or Camping & caravan club)
I will post any sightings as (and IF) i see them but out of all of them the White Starling appeals to me most!!
 
Just looked at the Norfolk thread and now see reference to all white Common Starling which I was unaware of as not looked on that thread for weeks and its not a bird that would appear on the pager..good luck in Norfolk
 
Need to get back up to Norfolk, had a weekend in Arne bagged a firecrest and dartford warblers and a spoonbill amongst others. Weather in Essex has been pretty poor for bird photography so haven't been out much
 
Grey Heron, Sparrowhawk, Great Spotted Woodpecker, and what looked like a definite White Wagtail to me, at College today!
 
Got the male and female Black Redstart at Rainham today on ferry lane.Didnt go on the reserve but still had Grey Wagtail,short eared owl,common sandpiper,18 black tailed godwits,spotted redshank,kestrel,Marsh Harrier

Goshawk displaying site (s)
I was told the other week about a site which is regular for a couple of displaying Goshawks in essex but can't remember exactly where it was,does anyone know? If so could you let me know,on here or by private message if felt that it better kept quiet
 
3 Hawfinch & a couple of Lesser Spotted Woodpeckers have been seen on Hockley Woods today, further details of the location will be on SOGnet later today of where they were for those interested
