    Look for damage to the longer feathers like the primarys. If the ends are chewed then its probably a cat!

    Sounds like you would have a more comfortable time viewing with what you have if you removed the chip on your shoulder.     All in one red dot sight

    A red dot sight mounted on a hot shoe is a great idea for snap shooting birds in flight and should allow you to get on the bird extreamly fast. Using a laser sight is just stupid, dangerous to the birds and plain wrong.

    We havent had the forcast snow yet but it looks like it will come before dark. There was 120mph wind over Flotta, i thought it was notable that the Kirkwall wind turbine (sea level) recorded 138.5mph across the town last night.....nice..
