Losing blackbirds....bird of prey or cat? (1 Viewer)

In the last three weeks, we've lost three blackbirds from our walled garden. All that's left are feathers and so I suspect that it isn't a cat. However, the walled garden is very small...only about 10m square with 7ft walls and so what bird-of-prey would be agile enough to get in there?

We do have a lot if buzzards but I would have thought that they would be too ungainly to perform the aerial gymnastics in such a short space..but I am certainly no expert.

Look for damage to the longer feathers like the primarys. If the ends are chewed then its probably a cat!
