Taxonomy
Subspecies
There are three subspecies[1]:
- L. a. cinereiceps - SE Honduras and Caribbean slope of Nicaragua to nw Panama
- L. a. albigularis - Pacific lowlands of Costa Rica to w Colombia and w Ecuador
- L. a. cerdaleus - E Colombia (Córdoba to Santa Marta)

Wetlands and swamps.
