Identification

Distribution

Northern Australia (sandstones of western Arnhem Land, Northern Territory).

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species.[1]

Clements (2010) and Gill and Donsker (2010) split Kimberley Honeyeater M. fordiana (Schodde, 1989) from M. albilineata (H. L. White, 1917).

Habitat

Moist lowland forests.
