Distribution
Australia: North-western Western Australia (sandstones of north-western Kimberley).
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species.[1]
Clements (2010) and Gill and Donsker (2010) split Kimberley Honeyeater M. fordiana (Schodde, 1989) from White-lined Honeyeater M. albilineata (H. L. White, 1917).
Habitat
Moist lowland forests.
