Distribution
Western Africa: found in the montane forests of Mount Cameroon and Bioko Island (Gulf of Guinea).
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
This is one of the many Sunbirds that have recently been moved to the genus Cinnyris from the genus Nectarinia.
Habitat
Hill forests.
Behaviour
Diet
The diet includes ants and spiders, nectar and seeds.
Breeding
It builds its nests from moss, roots and spiders' webs, with a side entrance. The clutch consists of 1 or 2 eggs.
