Notable Species
Despite much of its area being lost to development, the remaining reedbed at Son Parc is still good for Zitting Cisticola, Moustached Warbler and Great Reed Warbler and various other marsh species.
Migrants, especially hirundines, are also attracted to this area and Rufous-tailed Scrub Robin has been recorded in autumn.

Once at Son Parc follow the sign for the beach �Playa� and park in the car-park down this road. This gives access to a track to the reedbed. The small reedbed here is ideal for early morning/late afternoon visits for those staying in the Son Parc tourist development and there are areas of scrub and pine woodland within easy reach.
Access and Facilities
Son Parc is in the north-east of Menorca and reached on the PM710 Mahon-Fornells road turning off 4.5km before Fornells.
