Schizoeaca perijana
Identification
19 cm. Long, pointed tail. Uniform greyish-brown, with long greyish supercilium. Cinnamon-buff chin spot. Chestnut-edged wing-coverts. Long, pointed, graduated, light brown tail feathers.
Distribution
It only occurs in the Sierra de Perijá on the border of Colombia and Venezuela.
Taxonomy
Moved to genus Asthenes by Clements (2010)[1] and IOC (2010)[1].
Habitat
Shrubby vegetation.
Behaviour
Birds are often seen in pairs, foraging for arthropods and occasionally berries.
