robertmortensen's review Here is a list of the birds that I was able to identify in O'ahu. An asterisk indicates a bird new to my life list, which are 26 of the 32 species that I saw.

1. Common Fairy-Tern* (Whale Watching Cruise, still in harbor) 2. Feral Pigeon* (White) (Downtown Honolulu) 3. Pacific Golden-Plover * (abundant all over the island) 4. Common Myna * (over-abundant, the make a lot of loud interesting noises) 5. Zebra Dove * (over-abundant) 6. Spotted Dove * (abundant) 7. Red-whiskered Bulbul * (very cool bird) 8. Red-vented Bulbul * (seen regularly) 9. Japanese White-eye * (seen in urban area) 10. Java Sparrow * (seen regularly) 11. House Finch (seen regularly) 12. Northern Cardinal (Hanauma Bay) 13. Red-crested Cardinal * (my favorite bird to see, and we saw several) 14. Western Cattle Egret * (very abundant) 15. Red Junglefowl* (abundant, especially at the Botanical garden) 16. Gray Francolin * (saw this one on the edge of a pineapple field) 17. Nutmeg Mannikin * (Polynesian Cultural Center) 18. Common Waxbill * (both the waxbill and the mannikins were small birds flying around in flocks in the grass) 19. White-rumped Shama * (Botanical Garden) 20. Bristle-thighed Curlew * (Ko'Olina, where we watched the sunset) 21. Hawaiian Coot * (Endangered. They are doing well at the Botanical Garden lake) 22. Common Moorhen (Botanical Garden) 23. Hawaiian Duck * (Botanical Garden) 24. Mallard (Botanical Garden) 25. Sooty Tern* (SeaLife Park) 26. Red-footed Booby * (SeaLife Park and on Whale Watching Cruise) 27. Black Noddy * (SeaLife Park) 28. Newell's Shearwater * (SeaLife Park) 29. Layson Albatross* (SeaLife Park) 30. Black-footed Albatross* (SeaLife Park) 31. House Sparrow (seen regularly) 32.
