Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
This species is sometimes placed in the genus Hypsipetes. The scientific name formerly used was virescens but this is permanently invalid.
Habitat
Forests and grasslands, and is also found in gardens, secondary forests, plantations of coconut and rubber, and around human habitation.
