Identification

Distribution

Found on Java and Bali.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species.
It was formerly considered a subspecies of Sunda Whistling Thrush.

Habitat

Moist montanes.

Behaviour

The diet includes snails.

Its cup shaped nest is built from moss and twigs in a rock crevice and is lined with roots nd leaves. 3-4 grey speckled eggs are laid.
