Distribution
South America: found ind Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Brazil.

Subspecies
There are 5 subspecies[1]:
- T. c. glaucus:
- T. c. persimilis:
- Central Brazil south of the River Amazon and extreme north-eastern Bolivia
- T. c. simillimus:
- South-central Amazonian Brazil along middle River Purús
- T. c. hoffmannsi:
- East-central Brazil south of the Amazon (River Tapajós to northern Maranhão, north-eastern Mato Grosso)
- T. c. caesius:
- Coastal eastern Brazil (Pernambuco Rio de Janeiro, inland to Minas Gerais)
An additional subspecies simillimus is generally considered invalid[2].
Habitat
Lowland moist forests, savanna forest.
Behaviour
Diet
The diet includes insects.
Breeding
Both adults incubate the 2 eggs and care for the young.
