Genus: Rhyticeros
Description
Hornbills from Asia and Australasia. They share:
- A low wreathed casque
- A short all-white tail
- Females are all black
- Mainly frugivorous
- Wander large distances in search of fruiting trees
Taxonomy
Rhyticeros is a genus in the family Bucerotidae.
All species are sometimes included in Aceros.
