Description
As per 2021 not used, all species here moved to genus Cincloramphus. Thicketbirds from New Guinea and pacific islands.
Taxonomy
Megalurulus if recognized would be a genus in the family Locustellidae.
It was formerly placed in the family Sylviidae.
Long-legged Thicketbird is sometimes placed in its own genus Trichocichla.
