Genus: Lioparus
Description
This is a monospecific genus, containing the Golden-breasted Fulvetta.1
This species has longer rictal bristles, a broader bill and also a shorter hind claw than other Fulvettas which are assembled in the genus Alcippe (or alternativley also in Fulvetta).1
Taxonomy
Lioparus is a genus in the Family Paradoxornithidae.
This genus used to be merged in the genus Alcippe and placed in the Timaliidae or Sylviidae.
