Family: Paradoxornithidae
Description
Formerly this family contained all parrotbills and Bearded Reedling.
Now species like Wrentit and other allies have been included here.
Many species are associated with bamboo, grassland and reedbeds.
Taxonomy
Paradoxornithidae is a family in the Order Passeriformes. Some authorities include all genera from this family within the family Sylviidae.
Bearded Reedling is now placed in its own family Panuridae, related to the larks.
