Genus: Kakamega
Description
This genus contains just one species of Babbler, the Grey-chested Babbler from Africa.
It has very reduced rictal bristles, a long tongue and other unique features.
Taxonomy
Kakamega is a genus in the Family Modulatricidae.
It was formerly included in the family Timaliidae or Promeropidae.
The included species has formerly been placed in genus Malacocincla and Modulatrix.
