Genus: Modulatrix

Description

This genus contains only one species, the Spot-throat from E Africa.
It's similar in size, bill shape and proportions to Grey-chested Babbler.

Taxonomy

Modulatrix is a genus in the Family Modulatricidae.
It was formerly included in the family Timaliidae or Promeropidae.
Has also been placed within the Bulbuls or the Thrushes.
