Genus: Dixiphia
Description
A junior synonym that therefore cannot be applied to any species.
Taxonomy
Dixiphia is a genus name that for a while was erroneously applied to White-crowned Manakin in the family Pipridae (it now belongs in the genus Pseudopipra). However, further studies found that this name was a junior synonym of the genus name for White-headed Marsh Tyrant (Arundinicola) in the family Tyrannidae.
