Central Africa
Western Africa: Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, DRC and north-western Angola
Eastern Africa: found only in western Uganda
African Islands: Gulf of Guinea Islands, Bioko (Fernando Po)

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species^[1].
