Distribution
South-east Asia: found in Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo, Java, Bali and adjacent islands.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Moist lowland forests to 1,100m, freshwater swamp forest, mangroves and deep jungle.
Behaviour
Diet
The diet includes insects.
Breeding
The cone shaped nest is made from lichens and spider webs. The clutch consists of 2 eggs. The young are fed by both adults.
