- Black crown, sides of head and upperparts
- White loral spot
- Black wings
- White interscapular patch
- Black graduated tail
Distribution
South America: found in Amazon river islands of (Colombia, north-eastern Ecuador Peru, northern Bolivia and western Brazil)
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Understorey of moist lowland forests and shrubland.
Second growth on islands in rivers of the Amazon system.
Behaviour
Diet
There is little data available, but they are known to feed on insects, larva, beetles and probably spiders too.
