Overview

The sanctuary is a man-made wetland, which was developed to store water for the Jawaharlal Nehru canal.

It was established as a sanctuary in 2009.

Dist. Jhajjar, Haryana. Approximately 105-110 Km from Delhi.

The best times to visit are from October to March, with December and January being the peak months

Sanctuary hours in winter are: 6:30 am - 5 pm and in summer: 6 am - 6 pm.
