Similar to Short-tailed Antthrush and essentially identical to Rufous-tailed Antthrush (which see for comparison of the three)

Distribution

South America: found only in south east Brazil (Minas Gerais and Espirito Santo to north-eastern Santa Catarina).

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].D A split has taken place: Schwartz's Antthrush and Such's Antthrush used to be part of Rufous-tailed Antthrush.
